The 629,000 veterans living in Canada have rates of depression, anxiety and substance use disorder that are higher than the civilian population. One in seven is living with PTSD. Veterans are two to three times more likely to experience homelessness compared to the general population. About one-fifth of Canadian Veterans experience a diagnosed mental health disorder at some time during their lives– the most common are depression, PTSD and anxiety disorders. You are not alone.

At JC Herrett Consulting, we recognize the unique challenges faced by veterans, such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, operational stress injuries, and other mental health issues. Therapist Jocelyn Herrett works closely with veterans to identify their specific needs and goals, developing personalized treatment plans to achieve the best possible outcomes. Herrett employs a trauma-informed approach to therapy, ensuring that each session is supportive and effective. We provide a safe, non-judgmental, and confidential environment for veterans to receive the care they need.
